“Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.” — Aristotle
Don’t bite into the fruit too soon. It’s gross. Just a little longer and it will be perfect for eating.
Similarly,
Don’t quit just before the breakthrough.
Don’t drop the ball at the one-yard-line.
Don’t give up when help is on the way.
Don’t abandon the cause when favor is mounting.
Don’t fall back when the enemy is on his heels.
Be patient. Just a little longer. Something good is on the way.
I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. (Psalm 40:1)
