When we share our struggles, they can’t sneak up on us. When we offer our weaknesses, no one feels compelled to make them an issue.
But it’s the hypocrisy and hiding, the posturing and pretending, that lead to messy falls.
Stay low. Even as you climb. It’s better this way.
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. (James 4:10)
