Fear is a thief and it’s picking your pocket in all your anxious moments.
But the Lord said to him, “Peace! Do not be afraid.” (Judges 6:23)
The phrase, “Do not be afraid” is in the Bible over 80 times. For a reason. Fear causes us to worry instead of trust. It focuses our minds on all the bad around us instead of the all good.
For a little less fear today, ask yourself, “what am I worried about?” and then evaluate it. Don’t beat yourself up. Just look your fear up and down, from every angle, and decide if it’s working for you.
