Having Trouble Sleeping? - Spirit Farm

Are you having trouble sleeping at night?

If it’s just this week because of the thing with the person from the place… okay. But if sleep struggles have been reoccurring, or if you’re finding yourself using alcohol, pot, or other meds, and you see the value in addressing the root issues, then we should talk.

Most of us know the publicized best-practices to help our brains wind down at the end of the day:

  • Turn off blue-light screens an hour before bed.
  • Don’t eat two hours before going to bed.
  • Cut back on alcohol (impacts sleep quality)
  • Meditate/pray
  • Limit caffeine
  • Take a warm bath
  • Have a wind-down ritual

There are bigger issues causing our anxiety and sleep disturbance, under the surface of things. You might not even realize what the underlying issue is. But it’s there, lurking, like a splinter in your brain–in your subconscious mind.

And it’s costing you more than you realize:

  • Health
  • Energy
  • Being present
  • Creativity
  • Calmness

Quick tip:

You can start digging into the disturbance by asking yourself a series of WHY questions. IE: _Why am I anxious? Why is that? And why does that matter to me? _Down the subconscious rabbit hole you go.

The goal is to get to the root–where you feel the emotion and the energetic source of the anxiety or disturbance.

Then, it’s a matter of surrender and replacing old thinking with new thinking.
